Lake Reflections

Reflections are one of those elements that most people ignore. I am always attracted to reflections. Sometimes when I am shooting, people will look over their shoulder as they walk by wondering why my camera is pointed in a certain direction.
In this image of Indian Boundary Lake in Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee I discovered that the reflection of the mountains were much more interesting than a straight shot of the mountains. By letting the reflection dominate the composition I conveyed the importance of the reflection.
