Chestnut Street Baptist Church in Camden Maine

In small towns some of the most interesting architecture are churches. This is Chestnut Street Baptist Church in the small harbor town of Camden Maine. This church has been serving the Camden community for 200 years. I choose black and white film because I wanted to show the white church standing out against the dark sky. The sky was actually deep blue but with a number 25 red filter I was able to capture a sky that actually go from a light gray to an almost absolute black tone. I use a wide angle lens to show the steep upward shape of the building. LynnFreeny.com
