Appalachian Dulcimer Maker

The Appalachian Mountains have a rich tradition in music. I wanted to capture the color of autumn along with the long tradition of craftsmanship in the Southern Appalachians. Porch light is very similar to window light. The nice even light gives detail to the dulcimer and the player. This is important because this is Mike Clemmer of Townsend Tennessee one of the world's best mountain dulcimer makers. His instruments are played all over the world because of the beautiful tones they produce along with unmatched workmanship. The reflecting fall colors seem to match the hue of the dulcimer in Mike's
