Man Reading Newspaper in Sculpture Garden at Market Square Knoxville

One of the best ways to simplify a subject is by using shallow depth of field. In this image of the newspaper reader I used a 200 mm lens set at f-2.8. Notice how the out of focus background helps the subject to stand out from a complex background. I also used a tripod to steady the camera to obtain a sharp image.
