Sometimes you get just the right light for a portrait without trying too hard. What helps you recognize good light is knowing how to create good light. The light on this little girl was natural. It was the light that happened to be there. I like to call it "found light". Just remember it is impossible to find something that you are not familiar with so learn how to create good light.
